If you are looking for some decent Japanese food in Jaya One, Hanazen probably be the only choice in that area. The place is usually packed during lunch and dinner time, but you can always call up for reservation if you are going in a group. Go ahead and request for their private room. The pricing is definitely pretty high. My Nigiri Sushi Zen is about RM33, but it does come with some quality assorted sushi. They are quite generous with the thickness of the raw fishes too - the slices of the sashimi and on the sushi were pretty thick and fresh. At least, you won't be getting those pathetic slices from some Japanese food chain. They have delicious Unagi set too. The unagi is thick and grilled to perfection, and the glaze was amazing. I wouldn't they are one of the best Japanese restaurant in town, but they do serve some decent Japanese dishes. Also, the service was good too. We do not have wait too long for our food to be served.
